April 14th Surgery Live Stream Hits News Headlines

Last week the Guardian, amongst others, featured an article on the upcoming  worldwide live-stream event planned for April 14th at 1pm:

Featuring the words of Dr Shafi Ahmed, the article talks about the upcoming event and its relevance as a pivotal step in the right direction for medical education as well as the future of digital training as a whole.

This follows an interview at the ‘Wearable Technology Show’ a couple of weeks earlier for The Guardians Tech Weekly Podcast in which Matt Leatherbarrow, the head of the Digital Development Team for Medical Realities, provided an audio walkthrough for the Tech Weekly team who had the opportunity to demo the latest product and talk about the ever expanding VR industry:
