Coloplast Stoma Surgery AI Consultation

Working closely with Coloplast's Education Manager , we helped identify key areas that could benefit from cutting edge digital simulations in order to enhance Coloplast's in-house training across their global organization.

The result was a bespoke product that provides a multi-user simulation of a stoma pre-surgery consultation, powered by Artificial Intelligence. This allows Coloplast to train stoma nurses in how to properly deal with conversational scenarios that arise pre-surgery, helping to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The solution allows an instructor to connect remotely with a trainee and provides them with controls that influence how the conversation with the simulated patient proceeds. This control-board when coupled with AI technology means that no two training sessions are ever the same, whilst retaining reliability and validity.
